Why is this payment still saying authorized?

An "authorized" state means that we've successfully collected the payment, but that those funds are in review by our Risk Management team. We periodically send payments through this manual review process to help protect the security of you and your users and mitigate fraud risk.

While a payment is in review, the checkout object will be in the "authorized" state until the process is complete, which generally takes 1-2 business days. Once finished, the checkout object will then update either to the "captured" state and the funds will be released to the payee, or the "failed" state and the transaction will be reversed.
